Red Cross Award to Julie Daniels, December 2015
The Red Cross presented an Armed Forces Legacy Award to Julienne Daniels for her service as a nurse in Europe during World War II. The primary presenter was Richard Branigan, Red Cross Chief Program Officer. Assisting him was Philip Chapman, Red Cross National Staff, retired. Mr. Branigan presented Julienne with two certificates attesting to her service as well as a service pin. Mr. Chapman presented two Red Cross uniforms to her since Julie's were lost. Mr. Branigan also presented a service pin to Colonel Jack Daniels to recognize his service. The audience of 15 included several members of Stay at Home in Wilton. Included among the pictures are Jack and Julie with their daughter and grandson.
