Friends of Ambler Farm

In conjunction with the Town of Wilton, the Friends of Ambler Farm has been created as an independent charitable organization to operate Ambler Farm as the building are being upgraded. It was fully incorporated in 2004 and granted full charitable status (501(c)3) by the IRS in early 2005. Since then it has been raising funds to assist the town with costs of the restoration, and to prepare programs to demonstrate the farming past in Wilton. The Board of Directors is shown below.

Fortunately, there are many folks in Wilton that believe in the objective of this Farm organization and have supported us by volunteering both money and time. Eventually, the full operation of the Farm will managed by the Friends Of Ambler Farm using a full time professional staff. A Public-Private Partnership will be established between the Wilton and the Friends Of Ambler Farm to allow the long term use of this unique facility as an educational and historical operation aimed at children of all ages.
